For those of you who don't know what perogies (english spelling) are, Martin introduced them to me - a delicacy of Canada thanks to the immigrants of Eastern europe. They're like ravioli but far better, stuffed with meat, potato, cheeses, or veggies. Martin and I tend to pan-fry them, but here they are boiled or better still, baked, where the dough turns into a pie-type pastry. And they are so GOOD.
